  • SPONSOR - A real estate provider who sources the investment property, garners the financing, and manages the asset for the owner.  Sponsors provide the service of packaging the investment property into the TIC format, allowing fractional undivided interests in one property to be sold to multiple co-owners as TIC interests.
  • BROKER/DEALER - A firm that recommends, offers, or sells investments to the public.  They are required to register with the SEC, an SRO, and the state securities divisions in every state in which the firm operates and in which the customer resides.  Welton Street is my Broker/Dealer, and is Licensed in all 50 states. 
  • DUE DILIGENCE - The process of verifying that material facts and risks that could affect the outcome of an investment are disclosed. Due Diligence is the responsibility of the Broker/Dealer and registered securities Broker/Represenatives prior to offering the investment to their clients.
